Lookups go from your browser straight to Cloudflare and Google over DNS-over-HTTPS. Nothing reaches our servers, which is also why it can be free and ungated: we are not paying for the queries, you are making them.
DKIM has no discovery mechanism — there is no way to ask a domain which selectors it uses. The optional DKIM pass brute-forces around thirty selectors that the major providers actually use, so a negative result means "not found at common selectors", not "no DKIM".
Blocklists are deliberately absent. Spamhaus refuses queries from public resolvers and returns a sentinel value that a naive tool reads as a listing — which would report every domain you own as blocklisted. We would rather omit the check than ship a false positive.
